It was about three years ago that I heard a song on a radio show called Thump Radio, at around 12pm. It was a live latin-groove mix with Julius Papp. Three years later, two weeks back, I was listening to another mix and I heard the track again. Looked it up, got it.

I highly recommend you listen to the Original MAW mix.

Get the single at Amazon. Cheap cheap!

Many years ago while I was searching for a sample of Tosca’s Annanas, I stumbled upon DJ Heathen’s “Mixer With Friends” website mix.

It’s not something you’d expect to be online, but it is. It’s a little shining star in the middle of a vast desert of electronica music, waiting to be uncovered. Heathen kicks off the album with one of my favorite songs, Sunday’s Child by Bacuzzi, and follows it with a mix that really gets you into the music. If you feel like you don’t know electronica enough, this is the place to start. It’s a small guide through all of the sub-genres of electronica, taking you from reggae and dub to downtempo. You’re bound to like at least one track from this mix, and from there you can branch off to artists like it.

Bacuzzi refers to the artist that is currently blowing my mind. The album is called Flower Lodge, and it’s quite the chill out place to be. I highly recommend you check out the tracks, “Why” and “Sunday’s Child.”

And now for some facts:
Artist: Bacuzzi
Album: Flower Lodge
Genre: Dub, reggae, downtempo.
Special Features: Angelic women singing beautiful lyrics, smooth bass tones.
Difficulty To Find: Very difficult. Amazon was the only place I could find it.
