Could Be The Helmets

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

Via About.com interview with Daft Punk:

DMA: So, how about all the girls who love you?
Thomas and Guy-Manuel just look at each other and start babbling in French. This concludes our interview.

I am updating all of my quick thoughts on my Twitter page.

The Joy Of English

“You know what that means?” Her voice quivered. She brow-beat me with her thy, which I would have taken more seriously had it not been for her enormous gesticulating nostrils.

Unreal Butter

Real butter on our popcorn.

Try muttering that to yourself all day and you’ll know how I feel.

Wisdom Teeth

Wednesday, April 12th, 2006
I had my wisdom teeth removed a couple days ago. They nocked me out, thankfully.
But even after three days of getting better, I can’t really open my mouth without some weird feeling in the back of my mouth. In my time of recovery, I have chosen to watch as many videos I can. Fun.

Fighting Ennui: Bite-Sized Strides

Thursday, March 30th, 2006
  • Start making sounds when no one’s around. I do it all the time. I’m crazy.
  • Take an old pencil lying around, sharpen it, then stick it in the celing, making it stay there forever. Works best at schools. Not that I’ve had any experience doing so at a school, but it’s good to do just in case gravity suddenly shifts upward and you feel you need to write about it.
  • When handling an object, use two hands to pick it up. Suddenly the object becomes precious.
  • When shaking someone’s hand, make eye contact, start a conversation if you want, but don’t let go of the hand. Confidence.

Hopefully this helped your mind get out of the drain, like a tetherball about to deflate.
