KBruch is a small program to practice calculating with fractions. Therefore 4 different exercises are offered.


KBattleship is a Battle Ship game. Ships are placed on a board which represents the sea. Players try to hit each others ships in turns without knowing where they are placed. The first player to destroy all ships wins the game.


Kanagram mixes up the letters of a word (creating an anagram), and you have to guess what the mixed up word is. Kanagram features several built-in word lists, hints, and a cheat feature which reveals the original word. Kanagram also has a vocabulary editor, so you can make your own vocabularies, and distribute them through Kanagram's KNewStuff download service.


GCompris is an educational software suite comprising of numerous activities for children aged 2 to 10. Some of the activities are game orientated, but nonetheless still educational. Below you can find a list of categories with some of the activities available in that category.

Cultivation is a game about a community of gardeners growing food for themselves in a shared space.


"Circus Linux!" is based on the Atari 2600 game "Circus Atari" by Atari, released in 1980. Gameplay is similar to "Breakout" and "Arkanoid" - you slide a device left and right to bounce objects into the air which destroy a wall.


Childsplay is written in Python and uses the SDL-libraries to make it more games-like than, for instance, gcompris. The aim is to be educational and at the same time be fun to play.


A game similar to 'Super Pang'. You are attacked by little green balls which are bouncing around and which you have to destroy with your knife. Your knife however is limited to being thrown upwards, thus you have to get under the balls to destroy them. Even worse, if you destroy a large ball, it doesn't just vanish, but breaks apart into two smaller balls.


You're in a garden with yummy veggies and a farmer who's not keen on you eating them. You can hide (and move around) under the ground.

Bouncy was written so it could be enjoyed very young children and by older gamers alike. Hence it's non-violent game and "easy" is really, really easy, and "hard" is challenging.
