Older distributions like Linux Mint 19.x, Ubuntu 18.04-19.10, and Trisquel 9 do not have out-of-the-box support for this scanner. However we have documentation on how to manually update the SANE software and related drivers for any distribution based off Ubuntu 18.04-19.10. The scanner requires SANE 1.0.28+. Ubuntu releases up to and including 19.10 will require a manual update per the directions here. Ubuntu 20.04 and Linux Mint 20.x may also require the removal of a package for the scanner to function properly. Please reach out to our support for information on other distributions and releases as we're mostly just waiting on distributions to catch up with including a sufficiently recent release of SANE to list all the distributions that will have support either now, or in the near future. Many other distributions should at this time already have support.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about compatibility or support fin or your favorite distribution and release.
