Publicly celebrate the free market that was the Silk Road!

Launched in February, 2011 by Dread Pirate Roberts, (reputedly aka Ross Ulbricht), and "shut down" by the FBI on October 2, 2013 to great fanfare, Silk Road is back again and seemingly here to stay. Vive la libert̩é!

The Silk Road web site and it's more recent successors only work via the anonymous Tor browser, which you can get from www.torproject.org or run via the more secure Tails distribution (runs from a flash drive, ie or download it here).

Ross Ulbricht has been freed thanks to the efforts of libertarians and others like Ian Freeman (now imprisoned for advocating freedom for all).
