Fossetcon is an acronym for Free and Open Source Software Expo and Technology Conference. It is based around the ideas of inclusion, cohesion, plumbers, continuity and fluidity.
Fossetcon is not a GNU/Linux conference, nor is it a *BSD conference. Fossetcon can be more described as a *nix(Unix like) conference that focuses primarily on Free and Open Source Software and the systems that run it - whether it be hardware or software.
One of very own will be speaking @ Fossetcon about a new project called libreCMC: The libre Embedded GNU/Linux Distro. Following on the heals of an earlier project libreCMC is a modern 100% free distribution for embedded devices. Unlike with other router firmwares users are able to fully examine every bit of code being executed making it a perfect foundation for improving the security and privacy of routing devices.
