FreeBSD & PC-BSD 11 currently have issues with the audio output (HDMI audio doesn't appear to work either, although it might be we just missed something). There is also no support for any internal wifi card at this time (as this has an M.2 wifi card and these cards depend on newer drivers than available in PC-BSD/FreeBSD). If a newer versions released feel free to contact us about support. Testing has confirmed basic support for at least USB, ethernet, and graphics/video output over HDMI (no 3d tested).

* Releases built on older software stacks may run into audio issues. This primarily pertains to the dual mic/headphone jack. For best results we recommend picking a distribution with a recent software stack and/or upgrading as soon as possible. You may also experience better results utilizing audio output over HDMI.

mSATA SSD drives are a new smaller form factor type of hard drive that are much faster than traditional spinning disk drives and are found in newer higher end computers. SSD drives will usually cut boot and application start times by about half.

Upgrade to Blu-ray today! Our Blu-ray drives suppport writing discs up to 100GB in size. Thanks to a compatible SATA to USB bridge our writer can also be flashed with third party firmware to improve support for playback of 4k Blu-ray content.

If you want more desk space, a newer flat panel monitor may be just what you need. Flat panel monitors take up less desk space and have wider screens for a larger viewing area. Only available for shipping within continental US via UPS ground.

While most monitors include a standard VGA, DVI, or HDMI cable newer systems frequently need a mini version of the cable. Check what type of connection your monitor has and get one of the following compatible mini cables.

Match the décor of your new PC with a keyboard and mouse that isn't tied to Microsoft. All of our desktop keyboards and mice are of high quality and never include a MS logo (more keyboard & mice products)

Get extra ports! If you have lots of accessories take advantage of a USB hub to keep everything organized and connected.

Do you practice good PC hygiene? Need to transfer data? Get a USB drive! Need speed? Upgrade to a SSD! Drives formatted with fat32 have optimal compatibility between operating systems. Ext4 is better for backups and data transfer in GNU/Linux.

Don't forget an extension cable. If your ports are too close together there may not be enough room for connecting components. Pick up a short 1' / 12 inch USB extension cable with your order.
