Using a Trezor T under Linux Mint with Monero GUI wallet

This is how to setup Monero to use a Trezor T hardware wallet under Linux Mint:

0. If you have not setup and initialized your device yet, do that first

1. Connect your Trezor T hardware wallet to the computer via the USB cable

2. Open the Software Manager from the Menu > Administration > Software Manager

3. Search for Monero

4. Click on Monero GUI and then the Install button to install, confirm any additional software it needs you to install

5. When it's finished installing click the Launch button

6. Select your language preference and click the Continue button

7. Select Simple mode

8. Accept the limitations of of the mode and check the box that says "I understand the privacy implications of using a third-party server", followed by the Next button

9. Select the Create a new wallet from hardware option

10.Click the tap to connect on your physical Trezor T hardware wallet LCD screen and enter your password

11. Give your wallet a name, location, and select your hardware wallet model, aka Trezor Model T, and finally choose the "Create a new wallet from device", and click the Create wallet button.

11. Select the Hardware wallet option when prompted where to enter your password

12. Take a look at your physical Trezor T hardware wallet LCD screen and pick a password for your new Monero wallet

13. Check the green box to export watch-only credentials on your physical Trezor T hardware wallet LCD screen

14. On the computer give the wallet a password and click the Next button

15. Finally click the Create wallet button

16. Enter your password and click the OK button

17. It'll ask you to enter your hardware wallet passphrase, click Hardware wallet, then enter it on your physical Trezor T hardware wallet LCD screen and click the green checkbox when done

18. At some point shortly after this you may be asked to refresh the device, do so on the physical Trezor T hardware wallets LCD screen
