Hexter is a software synthesizer that models the sound generation of a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer.

This is an application used to control and modify ALSA settings for sound hardware.

HDSPConf is a GUI to control the Hammerfall HDSP ALSA Settings.

This is is a beat slicer, providing amplitude domain and frequency domain beat matching / zero crossing algorithms. It exports sliced audio chunks and generates a MIDI file which can be used to play the sliced loop. Freecycle also exports AKAI S5000/S6000/Z4/Z8 .AKP file to be used with your favourite sampler.

Freebirth is a bass synthesizer / step sequencer / sample player similar to Rebirth. The bass synthesizer resembles a 303 but also has other capabilities such as

* Three oscillators (saw, sin, sqr)
* Phase offsets for each oscillator
* Separate filter and amplitude envelopes
* Separate tuning for each oscillator
* Two effects busses (reverb and delay).

Exaile is a media player aiming to be similar to KDE's Amarok, but for GTK+. It incorporates many of the cool things from Amarok (and other media players) like automatic fetching of album art, handling of large libraries, lyrics fetching, artist/album information via the wikipedia, last.fm support, optional iPod support (assuming you have python-gpod installed).

Elisa is a media center solution that includes a personal video recorder functionality (PVR) and Music Jukebox support, Elisa will also interoperate with devices following the DLNA standard like Intel's ViiV systems.

viewing, editing and writing ID3 tags
EasyTAG is an utility for viewing, editing and writing the ID3 tags of different audio files.

Currently EasyTAG supports the following:
* View, edit, write tags of MP3, MP2 files (ID3 tag), FLAC files (FLAC Vorbis tag), Ogg Vorbis files (Ogg Vorbis tag), MP4/AAC (MP4/AAC tag) and MusePack, Monkey's Audio files (APE tag).
